Wastewater Treatment

Wastewater Treatment

Conventional Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) processes can be classified into two main categories:

Continuous

In the continuous treatment process, plant flow will pass through a series of separate process units including pre-settling, aeration and sedimentation.

Aquatec Maxcon has constructed continuous treatment plants based on various processes including:

  • MBR
  • MBBR
  • MUCT
  • 4-stage and 5-stage Bardenpho
  • A2/O

Intermittent

The intermittent treatment process involves aeration, sedimentation and decanting of the effluent which is all carried out in a single tank.

Over the years, Aquatec Maxcon has delivered many types of intermittent systems such as:

  • Nereda®
  • IDEA
  • IDAL
  • SBR
  • HBNR
