Following the successful delivery of a similar project for QCLNG, Cryeng, who specialises in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Projects for Cryogenics and Oil & Gas Customers, was awarded the contract for the design and fabrication of 4km of Vacuum Insulated Pipe (VIP) for the APLNG Project. The VIP Spools ranged in size from 200NB to 1500NB and were provided for the LNG facility on Curtis Island, off the coast of Gladstone.
Maxcon Industries was the direct interface between Cryeng Thailand and the Client and was responsible for providing support and expertise to Cryeng Thailand, specifically in addressing the Client’s stringent procedures and documentation standards to ensure Code compliance. Maxcon’s highly experienced Quality Control team guided the project to successful delivery, held regular progress meetings, submitted the required documentation and inspected and tested the fabrication of the spools to ensure they were built to the highest possible standard. This significant contribution allowed the project to be delivered within the challenging timeframe and within budget.
